What You Can Expect
You won’t change this country with one trip but this country will change you. Prepare to be loved and accepted with open arms by the beautiful people here. Prepare for your eyes to be opened to the reality of a very different culture, amidst abject poverty. Prepare to be available to serve in whatever capacity and gifting the Lord has given you. Prepare for your spiritual life to be shifted and molded, as you enter into holy work in His name.
This was the most intentional advice given to me when I was preparing for my first mission trip. I wondered why I just kept hearing this over and over again. Be flexible! Food poisoning, lost luggage, missed flights and trips to the ER weren’t on our itinerary, but wow did we have a life-changing, amazing experience. If you do nothing else to prepare, practicing flexibility will serve you well. We can’t anticipate what the Lord has in store, as you well know, His ways are not our ways. All we ask, is that you are flexible, teachable, and available to do things outside your comfort zone and be exactly where the Lord wants you.
There are a variety of ways that your team could serve. Check out some of the projects listed below, or contact us directly to talk about what God has laid on your heart. We will work closely with you to determine which ministries and activities are best suited for the skill sets of your team. Our purpose is to partner with national pastors in order to meet real needs in the communities we serve, and to strengthen current ministries. We will ensure all logistics are taken care of before arrival in the country and serve with your team throughout your trip. Come and experience the amazing culture and country of Nicaragua and share the Hope of Christ.

The Race Marked Out For YOU!
“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness discourage us, so we stay in the mist of the valleys and never learn the mysteries of the hills. We don’t know what is lost in our self-indulgence, what glory awaits if we only have the courage to climb, or what blessings we will find if we will only ascend the mountains of God.”
